Responsibilities

  • Master subareas and gain expertise in research, including applicable research techniques.
  • Gain deep knowledge of a service, platform, or domain, and identify product needs by sharing the latest industry trends and applied technologies.
  • Review business requirements and incorporate research to meet business goals.
  • Provide strategic direction for data usage to solve problems and apply subject matter knowledge to support business impact.
  • Participate in onboarding team members and assist in developing academics for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Identify new research talent and collaborate with the academic community to develop a recruiting pipeline.
  • Document work in progress and experimentation results, sharing findings to promote innovation.
  • Use deep understanding of fairness and bias to contribute to ethics and privacy policies related to research processes and data collection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience.
  • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience.
  • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Problem Solving.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience.
  • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
