Tetra Pak is looking for a Quality Engineer: Laboratory in Rayong, Thailand, to ensure the accuracy and compliance of laboratory testing and quality systems. This role involves overseeing lab operations, maintaining quality system compliance, conducting root cause analysis for non-conformances, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Ansvarsområden

Oversee daily laboratory testing for accuracy, repeatability, and compliance.
Validate and verify laboratory equipment, methods, and instruments.
Review and approve test results, laboratory reports, and certificates of analysis.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
Ensure laboratory activities comply with ISO standards (ISO 9001, BRCGS, FDA) and internal quality systems.
Maintain and update laboratory SOPs, work instructions, and technical procedures.
Support internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits.
Participate in investigations for testing failures, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and DMAIC.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness.
Analyze laboratory data, trends, and quality indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
Prepare quality reports for management.
Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other analytical quality tools.
Drive improvement projects to enhance testing accuracy and reduce variability.
Support digitalization, automation, and method optimization in the laboratory.
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, D&T, and Supply Chain teams to solve quality issues.
Support new product development, raw material qualification, and process validation activities.

Krav

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related Engineering field.
2–5 years of experience in quality, laboratory testing, or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods and quality systems.
Familiarity with ISO9001/ ISO14001/ BRC/ FDA/ ISO22000/ OHSAS18001 systems.
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPC, MSA, Process capability Cp Cpk) and quality methodologies (WCM, TPM, 5W1H, Fishbone, 5Why, Kaizen).
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail skills.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience in a regulated Food packaging industry is preferred.
Experience in Film manufacturing or plastic injection molding industry is preferred.
