This is a temporary Graduate Apprentice Trainee position at Volvo in Bangalore, focused on training fresh graduates in Manufacturing Engineering processes and automation projects. The role involves gaining practical knowledge, assisting with process documentation, and working with cross-functional teams on next-gen transport solutions.

Ansvarsområden

Train young Graduate Engineers to become industry-ready in Manufacturing Engineering.
Involve apprentices in process documentation and automation projects.
Provide real-time on-the-job knowledge and complete departmental tasks.
Make Process Documentation (Process Sheets, SOPs, Work Instructions, One-point lessons, PFMEAs).
Work with cross-functional teams.
Follow up with suppliers to meet commitments.
Adhere to all safety norms of the organization.
Be disciplined towards learning and committed to department outputs.

Krav

BE/BTech in Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Computer Science Engineering, or Robotics Engineering.
Full-time first-class (> 65%) bachelor’s degree.
Fresher experience.
Basic knowledge of Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or microcontrollers.
Understanding of motor control, sensors, embedded systems.
Familiarity with Python/C++ (preferred).
Interest in Robotics with knowledge on ROS (Robot Operating System).
Knowledge of PLC programming languages (ladder logic & sequential function charts).
Working Knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Power Point).
Working Knowledge on AutoCAD & PLC.
Basic Knowledge of IoT Projects.
Experience on MS Excel & MS Power Point.
Hands-on experience on PLC software (Siemens) or Arduino / Raspberry pi projects.
Hands-on experience on embedded C/C++.
