Network Engineer role in Bangalore, India, responsible for second-level support, incident resolution, and technical operations. Requires strong knowledge of networking technologies like Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and must be flexible for a 24x7 role.

Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve incidents.
Investigate and diagnose problems, identifying work-around solutions.
Act as a network specialist, identify improvements, and provide input to RFCs.
Support and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DNS, and Email Security solutions.
Build user documentation and provide technical support.
Redesign and reconfigure alarms for the network.
Maintain a stable environment and optimize the network as vital.

Requirements

Candidate must be flexible for 24x7 role.
8+ Years of experience in LAN/WAN Networks and Security Operations/Development.
A primary degree in Engineering, IT or Telecommunications.
Back Office troubleshooting, project implementation, SRF & operations experience.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Juniper MX Routers and QFX Switches.
Good understanding of VXLAN/EVPN and Data Center architecture.
Palo Alto Firewall troubleshooting and security knowledge.
Background in Linux systems, Networking and Firewall technologies.
Technical experience on Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, Cloud, F5.
Strong Technical Skills on IP/MPLS, Routing, WAN/LAN, Security, DHCP/DNS/IPAM, Aruba Switches & WLAN.
Strong working experience with a wide range of Cisco & Juniper routers and switches, LAN, WAN and wireless LAN technologies, network security, DHCP/DNS and routing protocols such BGP, OSPF, RIPv2 and EIGRP.
Experience in Airwave, Mobility master & controller, Access points, Aruba ClearPass policy manager, Scalance-X Industrial Ethernet Switches.
The candidate will need to be prepared to be flexible in approach to work content and responsibilities, along with out of hours and on call support.

Desired Qualifications

JNCIA, CCSA qualifications are preferred.
