We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead product development and engineering operations within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on new product development and enhancements throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring products meet all requirements while driving innovation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead product design, development, testing, and launch activities.
Direct engineering and R&D teams to achieve project objectives and quality standards.
Oversee product design reviews, engineering documentation, CAD standards, and design guidelines.
Drive product innovation while improving manufacturability, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Partner with Operations to optimize manufacturing processes and support product launches.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product quality and manufacturing issues.
Manage capital projects from concept through implementation.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Support supplier development and technical problem-solving.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
7+ years of engineering experience in product design, manufacturing engineering, or production process engineering.
3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
Strong background in manufacturing environments and hands-on product development.
Experience with CAD design tools, GD&T, engineering drawings, and design standards.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Desired Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience leading capital improvement projects.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, DOE, 8D, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with CATIA or similar 3D CAD software.
