In short

This internship supports Technical Services projects focused on product uptime for customers through dealer technical support. The role involves coordinating technical activities, troubleshooting, and communicating with technical teams and stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction for Mack and Volvo brands.

Responsibilities

  • Support technical project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Assist in communicating project statuses to stakeholders.
  • Provide support for technical deliveries and ensure predictable outcomes for dealers and customers.
  • Document technical requirements and outcomes.
  • Learn and deliver product information to Uptime Operations, Customer Support, and Trucks Technology teams.
  • Participate in hands-on product trainings and provide feedback.
  • Learn product details and problem-solving techniques.
  • Identify areas of technical interest for a meaningful learning experience.
  • Deliver a final presentation of assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an Associate's Degree in Diesel/Automotive/Engineering Technology or equivalent field/technical experience (Heavy Duty Truck/Diesel).
  • 2 or more years of experience in heavy truck electronics and engine diagnostics preferred.
  • Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week.
  • Must be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75.

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Customer Service/Experience focus is a plus.
