We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead product development and engineering operations within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on new product development and enhancements throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring products meet all requirements while driving innovation and operational excellence.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead product design, development, testing, and launch activities.
  • Direct engineering and R&D teams to achieve project objectives and quality standards.
  • Oversee product design reviews, engineering documentation, CAD standards, and design guidelines.
  • Drive product innovation while improving manufacturability, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Partner with Operations to optimize manufacturing processes and support product launches.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product quality and manufacturing issues.
  • Manage capital projects from concept through implementation.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Support supplier development and technical problem-solving.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 7+ years of engineering experience in product design, manufacturing engineering, or production process engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
  • Strong background in manufacturing environments and hands-on product development.
  • Experience with CAD design tools, GD&T, engineering drawings, and design standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience leading capital improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, DOE, 8D, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with CATIA or similar 3D CAD software.
