Responsibilities
- Support project technical analysis and manufacturing activities for efficient project execution.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams on constructability, manufacturability, and assembly of designs.
- Assist with project execution, including preparing technical submittals and responding to customer inquiries.
- Develop Bills of Material (BOMs) in the MRP system based on engineering drawings and estimates.
- Support the creation and maintenance of kits and subassemblies for standard product lines.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide support to project managers and production managers in manufacturing and project activities.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and support communication among teams.
- Contribute to cross-functional problem solving and process improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline.
- Commitment to a full-time (40 hour) Summer/Fall (June 2027-December 2027) Co-op experience in St. Louis, MO.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous co-op or intern experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills (e.g., served in a leadership role in a student organization).
- Previous coursework involving automation, PLC, process controls, or simulation.
- Technical curiosity and an eagerness to understand how products, systems, and processes work.
