Emerson is offering an iCenter Co-op opportunity in St. Louis, MO, for an engineering student from June to December. This full-time role involves supporting project technical analysis, collaborating with engineering teams, and assisting with project execution activities in the field of automation software and process systems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Support project technical analysis and manufacturing activities for efficient project execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams on constructability, manufacturability, and assembly of designs.
  • Assist with project execution, including preparing technical submittals and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Develop Bills of Material (BOMs) in the MRP system based on engineering drawings and estimates.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of kits and subassemblies for standard product lines.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide support to project managers and production managers in manufacturing and project activities.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and support communication among teams.
  • Contribute to cross-functional problem solving and process improvement efforts.

Krav

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline.
  • Commitment to a full-time (40 hour) Summer/Fall (June 2027-December 2027) Co-op experience in St. Louis, MO.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Previous co-op or intern experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (e.g., served in a leadership role in a student organization).
  • Previous coursework involving automation, PLC, process controls, or simulation.
  • Technical curiosity and an eagerness to understand how products, systems, and processes work.
