Securitas is seeking a Solutions-Oriented and Responsible Support Engineer in Stockholm for first-line technical support, professional services, and training to resellers and customers. The role involves managing and troubleshooting IT infrastructure and databases, with a focus on the Nordic region and global operations for the Unison product line.
Responsibilities
- Manage support cases from intake through resolution.
- Deliver technical and user training to employees, partners, resellers, and customers.
- Administer support portals and product catalogues.
- Perform testing, beta testing, and maintain manuals and technical documentation.
- Provide on-site support and upgrades as part of professional services.
- Support product quality, customer migrations, and future product requirements.
- Act as a technical advisor in complex projects and drive resolution of product defects.
Requirements
- Genuine interest in IT infrastructure.
- Several years of experience working with networking, server and client environments, virtualization technologies, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Networking (switches, routers, firewalls, and TCP/IP).
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Server and client environments (Windows and/or Linux).
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience preferably within the Security Business and /or IT.
- Minimum secondary school qualification; university degree preferred.
- Proven experience in networking, server/client infrastructure, virtualization, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and maintain enterprise IT environments and databases.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Project management experience.
- Strong Swedish and English language skills (Mandatory).
- Must be a Swedish citizen.
- Must hold a valid Driver's Licence.
- Must have an approved Security Clearance.

- Experience preferably within the Security Business and /or IT.
