Atlas Copco is seeking an Accountant for their Cairo office to manage accounting transactions, reporting, and month-end closing. This role involves financial analysis, supporting business controllers, and assisting with audits and automation initiatives, contributing to accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Manage monthly group reports, month-end closing, and financial statement submissions.
- Provide BS and P&L analysis and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze trends and deviations, identifying potential issues.
- Support business controllers and local entities with accounting advice.
- Collaborate with departments to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
- Assist in the audit process and provide necessary documentation.
- Generate ad hoc reports for management.
- Support automation initiatives for process streamlining.
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- Experience +2 years in big 4 audit firms or financial reporting is a plus.
- Good command of English.
- End-user experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with ERP systems; SAP is a big plus.
- Analytical, proactive, solution-oriented, and deadline-respecting.
- Good communication skills.
- Well-organized and systematic.
- Team player and willing to learn.
Desired Qualifications
- Additional language is a plus.
- Experience +2 years big 4 audit firms experience is a Plus.
- Experience in financial reporting.
