The 1st Shift Finishing Supervisor at Rixson Manufacturing will lead daily operations for the Finishing Department, including Paint Line, E-Coat, Buffing, and Arms Assembly. This role ensures high-quality production, adherence to safety and environmental standards, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. Requires an Associate's degree, 2+ years of manufacturing experience, and demonstrated experience with lean methodologies.

Ansvarsområden

Lead, coordinate, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production in the Finishing Department (Paint Line, E-Coat, Buffing, Arms Assembly).
Achieve production schedules while upholding quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Investigate defects with Quality Assurance, implement corrective actions, and reduce scrap/rework.
Monitor KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, scrap, rework, and downtime.
Identify opportunities for throughput improvement, waste reduction, and departmental optimization.
Train, coach, conduct performance evaluations, and manage disciplinary actions for hourly team members.
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.

Krav

Associate's degree in a technical field or business management.
2+ years of experience in metals machining and electronics manufacturing.
Demonstrated experience with a variety of lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, making effective real-time decisions.

Experience in paint systems, coating operations, assembly processes, or finishing operations.
