We are seeking an experienced Security Controller to lead government security, vetting, and assurance for our Health & Public Safety and Aerospace & Defence Accounts in the UK. This hybrid role involves managing complex international security requirements and acting as the primary contact with the Industrial Security Assurance Centre (ISAC).

Ansvarsområden

Lead government security, vetting and security assurance across Health & Public Safety and Aerospace & Defence Accounts.
Provide senior-level security guidance on personnel security, vetting, facility/physical security, and security governance/risk management.
Manage complex and international security requirements, including overseas and dual nationals.
Act as the named Security Controller and primary contact with the Industrial Security Assurance Centre (ISAC).
Support BPSS, SC and DV vetting delivery and manage complex vetting cases.
Oversee security across government-accredited facilities and support physical security assessments.
Ensure compliance with UK Government security requirements (GovS 007, JSP 440, MOD CSM, Security Aspects Letters).
Lead the response to security incidents and breaches.
Provide security input into bids, proposals and new contracts.
Deliver security awareness activities and promote a strong security culture.

Krav

Born or naturalised British citizen.
Current DV clearance, or able to obtain it.
Must be a permanent employee.
IQ Level 3 Organisation Award for the Security Controller within the Defence Industry, or DISA-certified equivalent.
DISA Security Vetting Procedures certification.
Strong knowledge of UK Government security and National Security Vetting frameworks (GovS 007, JSP 440, MOD CSM, SPF, IPSA).
Experience supporting or managing BPSS, SC and DV vetting, including complex or international cases.
Experience working with ISAC or a comparable government security body.
Experience managing government-accredited facilities and Government Classified Assets.
Strong security governance, assurance, risk management and incident management experience.
Experience advising senior stakeholders and clients within a large, complex organisation.
Experience within Health & Public Safety and/or Aerospace & Defence.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with F1686 approvals and multinational security programmes would be highly desirable.
Communicate confidently with everyone from operational teams to senior leaders and clients.
Ability to influence stakeholders while building trusted relationships.
Comfortable managing complex security requirements and competing priorities.
Collaborative and pragmatic approach to solving problems.
Ability to confidently challenge existing ways of working and drive improvements.
Gravitas and diplomacy when communicating security obligations.
Keep up to date with changes in UK and international security regulation.
