Qualcomm is seeking a Sr Lead Engineer specializing in Thermal systems. This role focuses on achieving industry-leading power-optimized solutions for Qualcomm IoT targets by performing system-level power and performance analysis. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve power challenges, enable system features, and debug software solutions to optimize battery consumption.
Ansvarsområden
- Perform system level power and performance analysis on Qualcomm IoT targets.
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze and identify power challenges.
- Enable system level power features.
- Drive debugging and analysis to identify and provide SW solutions for optimizing battery power consumption.
Krav
- Embedded Linux Systems background with a good understanding of upstream code, Yocto and Ubuntu framework.
- Understanding of microprocessor architecture and common SoC hardware blocks (Interconnects, Display, Graphics, Multimedia).
- Strong knowledge of Linux tool chain, build environment, and hands-on experience in performance analysis.
- Awareness of systems concepts like scheduling, memory management and device drivers.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience OR Master's degree and 2+ years of experience OR PhD and 1+ year of experience.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- M.Tech/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication or related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
