Qualcomm is seeking a Sr Lead Engineer specializing in Thermal systems. This role focuses on achieving industry-leading power-optimized solutions for Qualcomm IoT targets by performing system-level power and performance analysis. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve power challenges, enable system features, and debug software solutions to optimize battery consumption.

Responsibilities

Perform system level power and performance analysis on Qualcomm IoT targets.
Work with cross-functional teams to analyze and identify power challenges.
Enable system level power features.
Drive debugging and analysis to identify and provide SW solutions for optimizing battery power consumption.

Requirements

Embedded Linux Systems background with a good understanding of upstream code, Yocto and Ubuntu framework.
Understanding of microprocessor architecture and common SoC hardware blocks (Interconnects, Display, Graphics, Multimedia).
Strong knowledge of Linux tool chain, build environment, and hands-on experience in performance analysis.
Awareness of systems concepts like scheduling, memory management and device drivers.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience OR Master's degree and 2+ years of experience OR PhD and 1+ year of experience.
2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Desired Qualifications

M.Tech/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication or related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
