Ansvarsområden
- Design and develop systems for Amazon's businesses.
- Model things, figure out right abstraction levels, and make judgement calls around design trade-offs.
- Innovate new ideas and provide directions to the business.
- Drive best practices and mentor other engineers.
- Drive continuous improvements in engineering and operational excellence.
- Use cutting-edge technology to solve complex problems.
- Build robust engineering platforms to solve high impact issues.
- Train new team-mates on software construction, operation, security, and its place in the bigger picture.
- Invent, design, and build stable and performant software.
- Participate in code review process, design discussions, team planning, and ticket/metric reviews.
- Focus on operational excellence, identifying problems and proposing solutions.
- Take on projects and make software enhancements that improve team software and processes.
Krav
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
