Alfa Laval is looking for a passionate Service Center Operator Intern in Yanbu for a full-time, on-site role. This position involves hands-on reconditioning of Heat Exchangers, including disassembly, cleaning, assembly, and testing, while ensuring quality, safety, and efficient workshop operations. The role is ideal for recent graduates with a Diploma/Associate Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering to kickstart their careers.

Ansvarsområden

Perform hands-on activities related to Heat Exchanger reconditioning including disassembly of units, plate cleaning, dye penetrant inspection, gluing of gaskets, assembly, and pressure testing of the units.
Ensure to wear full PPE demanded by the nature of the work.
Report the technical findings on the different inspections along the job and establish reports.
Report any issues to the Team Leader & take his concerns before proceeding.
Use proper tools, equipment, and procedures to perform the work.
Follow the guidelines mentioned in the reconditioning / repair procedures.
Ensure safety first culture attitude during working execution.
Be responsible for day-to-day housekeeping.
Ensure efficient maintenance and care of all company tools, spares and consumables used during work.
Ensure cleanliness & safety of the workshop tools & personnel.
Attend organized training courses as instructed, which will be a part of Personnel Development program.
Be able to go extra mile in fulfilling our customers requirements for on time execution of jobs & willing to work extended hours.

Krav

Hands-on Technician with Diploma/associate degree in mechanical Engineer /Industrial Engineering
Good level of safety awareness
Self-Starter and result oriented
Good understanding of operational issues
Team player
Ability to troubleshoot & solve technical problems
Flair for maintaining relationships and working across different cultures
Customer service oriented
Computer literate. Skilled in MS Office
Fluent in written and spoken English
Welding basic competence is a plus
