Securitas Technology is seeking a Physical Security Technical Consultant in Ireland/UK for a fully remote position. This role involves supporting the design, delivery, and quality assurance of security systems throughout the project lifecycle, requiring close collaboration with design teams, clients, and consultants. Responsibilities include reviewing designs, providing technical expertise on security principles, conducting site inspections, and preparing consultancy reports.

Ansvarsområden

Lead coordination of physical security requirements during project design.
Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews to identify conflicts and enhance security.
Review architectural, civil, and landscape designs for security measure incorporation.
Provide technical expertise on CPTED principles and layered security approaches.
Ensure security requirements are coordinated with site circulation, egress, utilities, and landscaping.
Support design teams with practical recommendations balancing security, operational, aesthetic, and budget needs.
Review and assess RFIs, technical submittals, shop drawings, and specifications for compliance.
Coordinate drawing revisions and project updates for successful delivery.
Conduct QA/QC site inspections to verify installation compliance.
Produce site assessment reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action recommendations.
Capture and share field feedback and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Own or support the delivery of security consultancy services aligned with client requirements and standards.
Prepare and present high-quality consultancy reports, technical studies, and cost analyses.
Lead client-facing meetings and workshops.
Apply security risk management methodologies and recommend mitigation measures.
Communicate technical, strategic, and design information effectively to stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and senior business leaders across the EMEA region.
Drive design workgroups and maintain confidentiality of client information.

Krav

3-5 years' experience with IP video and access-controlled enterprise security systems.
Experience in security system design and telecommunications environments.
Experience using CAD and Bluebeam, with an understanding of BIM.
Knowledge of leading security platforms including Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, Software House, Milestone, and Avigilon.
Understanding of physical security principles including perimeter protection, gates, fencing, barriers, CPTED methodologies, PAS ratings, and Secure by Design principles.
Knowledge of EN and BS standards for security design and installation.
Understanding of door ironmongery and physical security infrastructure requirements.
Third-level qualification in Electronics is highly desirable.
