Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY company, is hiring an Operator for their Tulsa, OK facility. This full-time, on-site role focuses on maintaining tube mill operations, ensuring equipment runs continuously, and performing quality checks. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, good mechanical aptitude, and experience with measuring devices.

Ansvarsområden

Operate and maintain tube mill operations and equipment.
Ensure continuous operation of the mill during the shift.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S).
Cross-train team members on parts programming and mill set-ups.
Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) on process and equipment.
Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
Minimize scrap.
Work with maintenance hands-on to resolve issues promptly.
Document downtime through a seamless reporting system for KPI tracking.

Krav

High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Experience in using special measuring devices: micrometer, calipers, tape measure.
Ability to read and interpret set-up charts supplied by OEM for tooling adjustments.
Ability to change out cut-off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels of equipment.
Demonstrate ability to meet negotiated time frames of scheduling.
Good communication skills with coworkers and material handlers.
Ability to think and react to schedule changes and mill conditions.
Ability to be a contributing and valued team member for continuous improvement activities.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience interpreting OEM set-up charts to make roll tooling adjustments.
