I korthet

Operate machinery and manufacturing processes under supervision. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, reading work instructions, and performing minor machine maintenance. The ideal candidate has basic computer and measuring device knowledge, along with English communication skills.

Ansvarsområden

Initiate simple machine cycles/ manufacturing processes.
Read work instructions to determine job specifications, machine adjustments, and material requirements.
Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
Learn to measure work piece dimensions using dial calipers, snap gauges or micrometers.
Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces.

Krav

Manual dexterity and mechanically inclined.
Basic understanding of computer-based machine controls.
Basic manufacturing/quality knowledge and ability to use simple measuring devices.
Ability to follow quality plans and work instructions.
Ability to use common tools of machine operations.
Basic English communication skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) at a minimum of a 6th English grade level.

Önskade kvalifikationer

High school graduate or GED required.
Previous manufacturing experience is desirable but not required.
