Junior OHS Specialist - temporary contract

ABB is seeking a Junior OHS Specialist for a 1.5-year fixed-term contract in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance by delivering training, investigating incidents, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with OHS regulations. The ideal candidate will have up to 2 years of experience in OHS, a degree meeting Polish requirements, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ansvarsområden

Deliver OHS training for new employees and interns, and monitor mandatory training completion.
Investigate workplace accidents, support hazard reporting, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct workplace inspections and assess conditions in office facilities.
Monitor and improve the First Aid System, coordinating training and emergency response.
Provide ergonomic assessments and promote health and safety awareness.
Support managers in delivering on-the-job safety training and ensure health and safety requirements for office operations and events.
Develop, review, and maintain OHS policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, internal standards, and continuous improvement of the OHS management system.

Krav

Up to 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety.
Good understanding of risk assessment principles, workplace hazard identification, and applicable OHS regulations.
Enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or another higher education qualification meeting Polish health and safety regulations.
Excellent communication in English (written and spoken) and ability to build effective working relationships.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Previous experience in a corporate office environment is an advantage.
Knowledge of ergonomics and office workplace assessments is considered an asset.
