Nordea is seeking an Expert Software Engineer for their Valuations team in Warszawa. This role involves full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, React, and Python, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted development and cloud-native practices on Kubernetes. You will own the entire software lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production support, and play a key role in architectural decisions and team mentorship.

Ansvarsområden

Understand business requirements and turn them into working software.
Make architectural decisions shaping the system's evolution over the next 3 years.
Review code daily to raise the team's quality bar.
Drive the Kubernetes migration and cloud-native transformation of existing services.
Automate and simplify processes.
Build and refine AI/agentic workflows to increase team output.
Mentor and pair-program with other developers.
Communicate directly with business stakeholders, translating complexity into clarity.
Own production incidents, diagnosing, fixing, and preventing recurrence.

Krav

7+ years of experience as an Expert Software Engineer.
Expert Java, Spring Boot.
Kafka, JMS, or equivalent event-driven messaging.
REST API design and implementation.
Oracle or other RDBMS (query performance focus).
Knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID, design patterns, testable architecture.
Docker and containerization.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (building and maintaining).
Experience with AI-assisted development (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or equivalent).
Good English, both written and spoken.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Kubernetes and cloud-native patterns.
Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, or similar).
Observability tooling (Grafana, InfluxDB, Splunk).
Banking or finance domain experience.
Atlassian stack (Jira, Bamboo, Confluence, Bitbucket).
