Emerson T&M Hungary is looking for a Technical Writer to join its R&D team in Budapest. The role involves creating and editing product documentation, collaborating with content experts, and improving documentation usability. A Bachelor's degree and multiple years of professional technical writing experience are required.

Responsibilities

Create and edit product documentation, including printed materials and electronic help.
Send documentation through review and implement feedback.
Collaborate with content experts to learn about products.
Prepare information for publishing.
Work with project managers and engineers to improve documentation usability.
Troubleshoot help systems integrated into products.

Requirements

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Multiple years of professional technical writing experience.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in English, Technical Communication, or other major with writing-intensive component and/or science/technology emphasis.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Desired Qualifications

Firm understanding of XML, DITA, and HTML.
Experience in using writing and terminology assistance tools like Congree and TermWeb.
