Responsibilities
- Advise architectural professionals on the design and specification of door openings using BIM software.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
- Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
- Provide timely and accurate product information for commercial project specifications.
- Deliver continuing educational programs on new products, solutions, and services.
- Assist with product substitution and approval procedures during the bid process.
- Utilize Salesforce.com for customer relationship, project tracking, and time management.
- Serve as the point-of-contact for architect education, specification, client satisfaction, and technical support.
- Promote adoption of Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals.

- Ability to travel within an assigned territory.
- Ability to perform responsibilities in a home office or while traveling.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material.
Desired Qualifications
- College/University degree preferred in architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar curricula.
- Alternatively, work experience commensurate with a minimum high school/GED diploma.
- At least 2-3 years of industry-related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
- Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
