We are seeking a Principal Business Analyst Finance with over 10 years of experience to drive business transformation through process improvement, digitalization, and data-driven decision-making within Volvo Group's global finance organization. The role involves partnering with stakeholders, leading analysis activities, and advising on ERP and digital solutions to deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders and Process Owners to understand challenges, opportunities and strategic priorities.
  • Identify, assess and drive opportunities for process optimization, standardization, automation and digital transformation.
  • Lead business analysis activities to define future-state processes, capabilities and solution requirements.
  • Advise stakeholders on how business processes can be improved through effective use of ERP and digital solutions.
  • Leverage data and analytics to enhance reporting, planning, forecasting and decision-making capabilities.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business, data and technology teams to develop scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Develop business cases, evaluate opportunities and support prioritization based on business value and strategic impact.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader in business transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor colleagues and promote best practices in business analysis, process excellence and value realization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Excellence, Finance Transformation, Management Consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale business transformation and digitalization initiatives.
  • Experience driving end-to-end process improvements across Finance functions.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP implementations and transformations, preferably SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead complex initiatives across organizational boundaries.
  • Experience working in global, cross-functional environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Principal Business Analyst, Finance Transformation Lead, Business Architect, Process Excellence Lead, or Management Consultant.
  • Experience from Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, or Global Business Services organizations.
  • Background in large-scale Finance transformation programs and ERP modernization initiatives.
  • Experience working within multinational organizations undergoing digital transformation.
  • Accounting process domains including: Record-to-Report (R2R), Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C).
  • SAP S/4HANA and enterprise ERP solutions.
  • Analytics and reporting platforms such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI.
  • Business Process Management (BPM), process mining, Lean methodology.
  • Business transformation, operating model design, process standardization, and value realization.
  • Data-driven decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong execution focus.
  • Passionate about business transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Curious and willing to challenge established ways of working.
  • Strong in stakeholder management, building trusted relationships across Business and IT.
  • Influential communicator.
  • Capable of leading through expertise rather than formal authority.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making and value creation.
