Responsibilities
- Assist with engineering, capital investment, and continuous improvement projects.
- Support project teams by gathering data, tracking progress, and helping implement process improvements.
- Create and update component designs using 2D and 3D CAD software, and assist in developing technical drawings and models.
- Participate in problem-solving activities to improve processes, equipment, and product quality.
- Support root cause analysis investigations and contribute to corrective action recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams on manufacturing and operational challenges.
- Build practical engineering skills while contributing to projects that drive efficiency, safety, and performance improvements.
- Gain hands-on experience supporting planned maintenance activities and investment projects.
- Work alongside maintenance, fabrication, and machining professionals.
- Gain exposure to planning and execution of equipment upgrades and capital investments.
- Access machine shop and learn from skilled fabricators and machinists.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Logistics, Safety) to support operational goals.
- Participate in projects that improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall plant performance.
- Experience how different departments work together in a manufacturing operation.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in college, ideally in your last two (2) years.
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD/Solidworks (or equivalent CAD software).
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel in particular).

- Suggested majors: Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical and/or Industrial Engineering.
