Responsibilities

  • Participate in problem-solving activities to improve processes, equipment, and product quality.
  • Support root cause analysis investigations and contribute to corrective action recommendations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams on manufacturing and operational challenges.
  • Build practical engineering skills while contributing to projects that drive efficiency, safety, and performance improvements.
  • Gain hands-on experience supporting planned maintenance activities and investment projects.
  • Work alongside maintenance, fabrication, and machining professionals.
  • Gain exposure to planning and execution of equipment upgrades and capital investments.
  • Access machine shop and learn from skilled fabricators and machinists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Logistics, Safety) to support operational goals.
  • Participate in projects that improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall plant performance.
  • Experience how different departments work together in a manufacturing operation.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in college, ideally in your last two (2) years.
  • Very good knowledge of AutoCAD/Solidworks (or equivalent CAD software).
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel in particular).

Desired Qualifications

  • Suggested majors: Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical and/or Industrial Engineering.
