Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Oversee employees and contractors installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems.
- Track facilities service requests and ensure timely, quality completion.
- Schedule and ensure completion of inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Request quotes from and coordinate work with contractors and skilled trades.
- Make day-to-day decisions for Facilities Maintenance, Skid building, Rack repair, Burn off ovens, Blast Booth, Stock room, Fleet, and on-site contractors.
- Generate and manage spending requisitions.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain the team.
- Develop preventive maintenance programs.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent.
- Experience in using special measuring devices: tape measure, micrometer, calipers.
- Demonstrated ability of record keeping of KPI to understand cost impact of equipment and people.
- Experience with 5S and continuous improvement activities.
- Experience with dealing with different levels and backgrounds of personnel.
- Experience with JDE, Microsoft.
- Experience with PPE, fundamental safety, and OSHA.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
