Emerson is looking for a SUPPLY CHAIN CO-OP student to join their strategic sourcing team in Elyria, Ohio for Spring 2027. This role involves participating in all aspects of the strategic sourcing process, including managing RFQs, PPAPs, and supplier assessments, as well as potential negotiations and special projects. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and demonstrates strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the Supplier Delivery Get Well Program, including creating open order documents and running meetings with suppliers.
Manage the RFQ process for current and new parts, including tracking, evaluations, follow-up calls, and status updates.
Handle the PPAP process, including logging, tracking approvals, creating warrants, and storing samples.
Manage the completion of standard documents like ESAC, NDA, and Supplier Assessments with guidance from Commodity Managers.
Conduct negotiations for indirect payment terms, lead times, and MOQs on smaller suppliers.
Work on a special project during the last half of the co-op term, such as setting up a rapid prototyping supply base and quoting process, searching for new suppliers, or running auctions.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
Completed at least one (1) object-oriented course prior to the co-op term.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided.

Desired Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management.
Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Junior or senior class standing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
