Responsibilities
- Be a part of a team working on critical and strategic projects within Intune.
- Deliver robust designs and code for both backend microservices and frontend interfaces.
- Operate effectively in a dynamic agile environment, debugging and optimizing tasks across multiple services and teams.
- Design, build, and manage cloud service features at high scale and availability.
- Have end-to-end ownership of scenarios impacting customer experience and simplifying administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or Python OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- Passion for launching great consumer experiences
- Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Great communication skills to collaborate with cross-group and work effectively within the team
- Expertise in distributed systems and/or big data technologies
- Experience in developing large scale online services, mobile and desktop platforms
- Commitment to contributing to team culture
- Desire to exceed what our customers ask of us
Benefits
- Typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,400 - $168,100 per year.
- Base pay range in San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area is USD $111,100 - $183,700 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
