Responsibilities
- Operate all pallet manufacturing facility tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Sort and stack pallets according to department requirements.
- Cleanup work area during and at the end of each shift.
- Cut and stack boards to proper length.
- Understand and use the metric system and tape measure.
- Operate Pneumatic Nail Gun, Forklift and Hand Tools safely.
- Comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 1 year involved with wood manufacturing processes.
- Familiar with a variety of wood building concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work with others in a team environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and participate in a changing environment.
- Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
- Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic math and mechanical skills.
- Ability to routinely lift 30 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating Pneumatic Nail Gun, Forklift and Hand Tools.
