ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Skid Builder to operate pallet manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. This full-time, on-site role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of wood manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift 30 pounds. The position involves sorting, cutting, and stacking wood, operating tools, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Operate all pallet manufacturing facility tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Sort and stack pallets according to department requirements.
  • Cleanup work area during and at the end of each shift.
  • Cut and stack boards to proper length.
  • Understand and use the metric system and tape measure.
  • Operate Pneumatic Nail Gun, Forklift and Hand Tools safely.
  • Comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Work overtime as needed.

Krav

  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 1 year involved with wood manufacturing processes.
  • Familiar with a variety of wood building concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work with others in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and participate in a changing environment.
  • Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
  • Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Basic math and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to routinely lift 30 pounds.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience operating Pneumatic Nail Gun, Forklift and Hand Tools.

Förmåner

  • First shift position from 4:00am to 2:30pm Monday thru Thursday.
  • Overtime as required.
