This role involves providing L2 operational support for Azure PaaS services, including administration of Azure App Service, Function Apps, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Azure SQL. The candidate will monitor, troubleshoot, and support application deployments, connectivity, and security aspects within the Azure environment, following ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

Provide L2 operational support for Azure PaaS services.
Administer and support Azure App Service, Function Apps, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Azure SQL.
Monitor application/platform availability, performance, health, and capacity.
Troubleshoot App Service and Function App availability, configuration, deployment, and performance issues.
Analyze application and platform logs using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Support application deployments, configuration changes, restarts, and production releases.
Troubleshoot DNS, Private Endpoint, VNet integration, firewall, and connectivity issues.
Support SSL/TLS certificates, custom domains, and certificate renewal activities.
Manage application settings, connection strings, configuration parameters, and secrets.
Support Azure Key Vault access and integration issues.
Troubleshoot application-to-database and API connectivity issues.
Support Azure SQL operational incidents and coordinate complex database issues with DBA/L3 teams.
Support authentication and authorization issues involving Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, and RBAC.
Execute approved production changes and perform post-change validation.
Support vulnerability-remediation and platform-maintenance activities.
Participate in P1/P2 incidents, perform initial technical analysis, and escalate complex platform issues.
Maintain SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, and operational documentation.
Follow ITIL Incident, Service Request, Problem, and Change Management processes.
