We are seeking a sales-driven and outgoing Retail Sales & Merchandising Coworker for our Etobicoke, Ontario location. This role involves promoting IKEA services, actively engaging with customers to understand their needs, and ensuring the sales floor is well-maintained and stocked.

Responsibilities

Drive sales by ensuring your area is clean, tidy, fully stocked, and correctly priced.
Optimize availability by analyzing sales space capacities and adjusting stock levels.
Learn product features and benefits of Lighting products and share knowledge with customers.
Actively engage customers, identify needs, and recommend solutions.
Support merchandising, restocking, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.
Perform tasks requiring physical effort and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

Sales-driven, outgoing, and confident in approaching customers politely and friendly.
Passionate about creating an exceptional shopping experience.
Previous experience in sales or customer service, ideally in a fast-paced retail environment.
Comfortable with physical work, including heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, and being on your feet.
Ability to thrive in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace.
