Field Service Engineer - West Coast

Responsibilities
- Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various vacuum pumps and systems.
- Diagnose issues to prevent equipment downtime.
- Perform installations and ensure safety compliance.
- Document all activities.
- Serve as the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
- Report into the Field Service Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, preferably on vacuum pumps or systems.
- Experience in a service position in an industrial and highly technical environment.
- Able to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism.
- Able to complete work within assigned deadlines.
- Computer proficiency for communication, research, work orders, and programming controllers.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Fluent in English.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Able to work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
- Extensive travel to customer locations, including out-of-town and overnight travel.
- Available for a rotating schedule of on-call work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training in electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics preferred.
- Knowledgeable of HVAC preferred.
