We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Customer Experience (CX) team at Amazon Now in Bengaluru. You will own the end-to-end data ecosystem for CX, building scalable ETL pipelines, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting frameworks. This role involves deep-dive analyses on customer behavior, supporting A/B experimentation, and proactive anomaly detection.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end data ecosystem for CX, building scalable ETL pipelines, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting frameworks.
Track key metrics across the customer journey including conversion funnels, delivery experience, retention, and NPS.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, UX, Engineering, and Operations teams to define success metrics for feature launches.
Conduct deep-dive analyses on customer behavior and journey pain points.
Support A/B experimentation.
Build anomaly detection to proactively flag CX degradation.

Requirements

10+ years of professional or military experience
5+ years of SQL experience
Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining

Desired Qualifications

Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
