Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the biomass plant to ensure safe and efficient performance.
- Carry out routine inspections, fault finding, first-line maintenance, and condition monitoring.
- Support breakdown response, commissioning activities, and plant improvement projects.
- Collaborate with operational teams, contractors, and suppliers.
- Champion health and safety culture and support compliance and environmental performance.
Requirements
- Experience operating plant equipment in a manufacturing, utilities, power generation, combustion, energy, process, or similar operational environment.
- An electrical maintenance background is highly desirable.
- Strong fault-finding and plant operation experience.
- Proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work hands-on in a processing environment.
- Comfortable balancing operational responsibilities with practical maintenance activities.
- Confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications
- HNC qualification or equivalent technical background is advantageous.
- Applications from recently qualified apprentices are welcome.
