Responsibilities

Operate and monitor the biomass plant to ensure safe and efficient performance.
Carry out routine inspections, fault finding, first-line maintenance, and condition monitoring.
Support breakdown response, commissioning activities, and plant improvement projects.
Collaborate with operational teams, contractors, and suppliers.
Champion health and safety culture and support compliance and environmental performance.

Requirements

Experience operating plant equipment in a manufacturing, utilities, power generation, combustion, energy, process, or similar operational environment.
An electrical maintenance background is highly desirable.
Strong fault-finding and plant operation experience.
Proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Ability to work hands-on in a processing environment.
Comfortable balancing operational responsibilities with practical maintenance activities.
Confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desired Qualifications

HNC qualification or equivalent technical background is advantageous.
