IKEA is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate in Perryville, Maryland, to manage daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, with a starting pay of $19.00/hour. Comprehensive benefits are offered to eligible co-workers.

Responsibilities

Manage picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing of goods.
Contribute ideas and inputs to the agreed goals of the action plan in daily work.
Effectively unload and handle inbound/outbound goods.
Secure merchandise properly for safe movement through the distribution center.
Contribute to overall warehouse operations goals, drive local business plans, and analyze workload to meet daily volume and seasonal needs.
Remove and properly document all damages found or caused on inbound/outbound merchandise.
Assume responsibility for other assigned tasks and projects.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of related experience.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.

Desired Qualifications

Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
