As a Technical Writer, you will create and maintain clear technical documentation for industrial products, collaborating with engineering and product teams. This hybrid role requires strong English writing skills, experience with authoring tools, and 3+ years of experience. The position is based in Pune, India, with an application deadline of October 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

Write, update and create instruction books, quick start guides, and product instructions.
Collect, evaluate, check, and complete all information for documentation.
Develop strong product knowledge and understanding of target audience users and personas.
Organize material and complete writing assignments in accordance with set standards regarding order, clarity, style, and terminology.
Apply style guides and authoring checklists to maintain documentation quality.
Work with other writers, Product Managers, and service/marketing teams to identify documentation gaps and complete required documentation.
Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others.
Work closely with technical authors and assess their work for correct and consistent use of the source language.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer.
Ability to write English clearly and concisely using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Proven ability to write conceptual, task-oriented, and reference documentation.
Experience with MS Office.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Experience writing to a style guide and to meet authoring requirements.
Experience with MS TEAMS to track work and collaborate with product teams.
Capable of effectively working with multiple stakeholders in cross-cultural, global teams.
Well-organized and able to operate independently.
Good planner and systematic organizer.
A team player that will share information with colleagues and help develop the group.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in authoring tools such as Oxygen, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe InDesign, Word.
STE certification and course in Technical communication is an added advantage.
