As a Solutions Architect in AWS India's Retail/CPG team based in Bengaluru, you will help customers leverage emerging technologies like GenAI to achieve business outcomes by designing scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, build relationships with customers and partners, and contribute to shaping product direction through customer feedback.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key technical member of the Retail/CPG Account team, ensuring customer success on the Amazon Web Services platform.
Scope customer engagements with clear objectives and success criteria.
Own technical engagements and ensure timely delivery of value (solution delivery by partners).
Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the solution architect community.
Understand Amazon Web Services market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
Help customers plan their cloud journey using emerging technologies like GenAI.
Solve complex technical challenges to enable customers to focus on their business.
Craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
Drive or participate in technical solutions discussions.
Build relationships to understand customers and partners.
Act as a trusted technical advisor, influencing stakeholders from technical teams to executives.
Ensure short-term technology decisions align with long-term customer goals.
Speed up the adoption of AWS services.
Act as a thought leader by educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers and blogs, and running workshops.
Gather customer feedback to collaborate with engineering and service teams, shaping product direction.
Collaborate with customers on designing and operating well-architected solutions.
Earn customer trust and educate them on AWS capabilities.
Partner with internal teams and experts to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
Continuously learn and innovate daily.

Requirements

Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++.
Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows).

Desired Qualifications

Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution.
Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps.
