We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect, specializing in Employee Central, to lead HR technology design and implementation. This remote role requires 5-6 years of SuccessFactors experience, strong configuration skills, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, ensuring alignment with business requirements and HR strategy.
- Design and document overall solution architecture, including data models, workflows, business rules, RBP, and integration touchpoints.
- Configure Employee Central, support data migration, and lead/support build cycles, system testing, UAT, and cutover.
- Define integration architecture between Employee Central and other systems using SAP Integration Suite (CPI/BTP), APIs, and Integration Center.
- Champion data quality, data governance, and GDPR/data privacy compliance.
- Act as a trusted advisor on SuccessFactors capabilities, roadmap, and release management.
- Run workshops to gather and validate requirements, demo solutions, and drive design decisions.
- Assess the impact of SAP's bi-annual releases and recommend adoption of new features.
Requirements
- 5-6 years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience.
- At least 2 full lifecycle Employee Central implementations (design through go-live).
- SAP Certified Associate – SuccessFactors Employee Central Core.
- Strong expertise in Employee Central data models (Succession Data Model, Corporate Data Model, CSF), MDF objects, business rules, and workflow configuration.
- Expertise in position Management, organisational structures, and Role-Based Permissions design and administration.
- Working knowledge of Employee Central integration patterns (Integration Center, OData APIs, Boomi).
- Experience producing solution architecture documentation, configuration workbooks, and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of SAP HCM (on-premise) and hybrid landscape migration scenarios.
- Understanding of HR processes across the hire-to-retire lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile and/or SAP Activate delivery methodologies.
- Fluent in English.

- Ability to favor configuration over custom development where possible.
- Ability to produce solution design documents, configuration workbooks, and architecture diagrams to a high standard.
- Ability to work closely with integration developers to ensure accurate data flows and error-handling processes.
