Responsibilities
- Work closely with architectural professionals advising on the design and specification of door openings using BIM software.
- Cultivate relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
- Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
- Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
- Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and services.
- Assist with product substitution and approval procedures.
- Utilize Salesforce.com for customer relationship, project tracking, and time management.
- Serve as the point-of-contact for architect's education, specification, client satisfaction, and technical support needs.
- Promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals.
- Gain approval for internal teams to prepare Division 08 door and hardware specification documents.

Desired Qualifications
- College/University degree (preference for specialization in architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar), or work experience commensurate with, minimum high school/GED diploma.
- At least 2-3 years’ industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
- Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
