Responsibilities

  • Manage global procurement activities, negotiating contracts, prices, and terms with production partners and key suppliers.
  • Develop and implement forward-looking procurement strategies, monitoring market trends and mitigating financial risks.
  • Serve as the global point of contact for procurement, aligning local purchasing with global strategies and corporate policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and harmonization of procurement processes, tools, and systems.

Requirements

  • Completed technical education with a commercial background.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, ideally including international or multi-site environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience in contract management.
  • Good judgement and analytical skills combined with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working across international, cross-functional, and multi-site teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of customs, import/export, RoHS and EU regulations is a plus.
