Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Construction Manager for their Datacenter Construction Delivery team in South Bend/Mishawaka, Indiana. This role is responsible for leading the delivery of large-scale datacenter construction projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, sustainability, schedule, and budget requirements.

Responsibilities

Monitor approved project budgets and oversee project controls, identifying risks and recommending adjustments.
Facilitate campus and metro-based construction project delivery through timely, data-driven decision-making.
Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption of updated processes, improving cost savings, cycle time, and operational efficiency.
Review engineering documentation, designs, and site plans, identifying gaps and risks.
Represent Microsoft as a safety advocate, establishing risk mitigation metrics and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Oversee procurement and resourcing activities, evaluate staffing and material needs, and monitor vendor performance.
Assist in tracking and reporting project progress across scope, schedule, standards, and budget for executive audiences.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
12+ years experience working on data center projects.

Base pay range of USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year.
