Amazon Web Services is seeking a Commissioning Project Engineer in Mumbai, Maharashtra to support data center capacity delivery. This role involves project management, vendor onboarding, procurement coordination, and workflow analysis to identify process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Manage the creation of projects within internal Amazon systems.
Manage financial and vendor management tasks for the commissioning process.
Support the Request for Quote process, ensuring relevant documentation is available for vendor quotes.
Provide administrative support to commissioning engineers for workflows and processes.
Organize and maintain commissioning documentation.
Gather feedback to improve workflows and processes by identifying and implementing improvements.
Develop a detailed understanding of AWS critical infrastructure.
Learn the fundamentals of managing a commissioning project within AWS.
Work with team members to learn internal project management tools.
Participate in on-site commissioning activities.
Support Lead Commissioning Engineers in managing projects from beginning to end.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Master's degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project) at an advanced level.
Experience with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience in designing experiments and statistical analysis of results.
