The Site WHS Officer will collaborate with the operations team in a Fulfillment Center/QC Superstore to enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance. This role involves using lean principles to improve safety and reduce risks, and requires strong communication skills to train leaders and identify best practices.

Ansvarsområden

Partner with a site operations team in a Fulfillment Center/QC Superstore to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations.
Leverage lean principles and kaizens to lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our Associates.
Build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
Effectively communicate and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing.
Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies and assist the operations site teams in incorporating our safety standards at their site.
Identify best practices and incorporate these best practices into our standards to continuously improve company safety policies.
Possess excellent safety program and relevant safety, environmental and ergonomic knowledge and demonstrate this expertise when working with Operations.

Krav

Experience in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
1+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs or in work health and safety.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Master's degree in Health and Safety or a related field
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel
