Responsibilities
- Partner with a site operations team in a Fulfillment Center/QC Superstore to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations.
- Leverage lean principles and kaizens to lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our Associates.
- Build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
- Effectively communicate and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing.
- Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies and assist the operations site teams in incorporating our safety standards at their site.
- Identify best practices and incorporate these best practices into our standards to continuously improve company safety policies.
- Possess excellent safety program and relevant safety, environmental and ergonomic knowledge and demonstrate this expertise when working with Operations.
Requirements
- Experience in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 1+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs or in work health and safety.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Health and Safety or a related field
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel
