IKEA Gateshead is seeking two Warehouse Team Managers for their nightshift operations. The position offers a starting salary of £33,000 per annum, plus a nightshift allowance, for 39 hours per week.

Ansvarsområden

Ensure efficient daily fulfilment operations to maximize stock availability and readiness for customers.
Plan and organize operational activities, balancing staffing levels, workloads, and available resources.
Use performance data, forecasts, and KPIs to monitor results and identify improvement opportunities.
Coach, develop, and inspire a motivated team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve business goals and communicate priorities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Continuously review and improve ways of working to increase efficiency, maintain quality, and keep costs low.
Lead by example in a fast-paced operational environment.

Krav

Be 18 years of age or older.
Be able to commute to both the IKEA Gateshead store and the external warehouse.
Willingness to receive First Aid training and provide support if required.
Experience of leading teams in a busy warehouse or fulfilment environment.
Ability to prioritize and organize own and others' workload.
Strong operational planning and organizational skills.
Experience managing workload priorities, staffing levels, and operational resources.
Ability to balance strategic, tactical, and day-to-day operational responsibilities.
Results-driven approach with a focus on customers and meeting budgets, goals, and KPIs.
Confidence working with performance data, forecasts, and KPIs.
Ability to make quick decisions, take personal initiative, and remain calm under pressure.
Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
Ability to coach, develop, and inspire others.
Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learn the IKEA way of working.
Continuous improvement mindset and passion for finding better ways of working.

Förmåner

Starting salary of £33,000 per annum based on competence and experience.
£2.25 Nightshift allowance paid per hour worked between 22:00-06:00am.
