Amazon is seeking a Transportation Specialist for its Network Operations Center (NOC) in Hyderabad, Telangana. This role ensures timely freight pick-up and delivery, resolves exceptions, and contributes to process automation and improvement within a 24/7 environment. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field and experience with Excel are required, with SQL experience being a plus.

Ansvarsområden

Facilitate flow of information between different stakeholders (Trans Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses) and resolve potential issues.
Address potential issues occurring during the lifecycle of pick-up to delivery (Inbound Operations) or freight leaving the FC to customer premises (Outbound Operations).
Provide timely issue resolution by researching and querying internal tools and making real-time decisions.
Analyze data, notice trends, and drive Customer Experience without compromising on time.
Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
Pull data from databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams.
Quickly understand business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.
Systematically escalate problems or variance to relevant owners and teams and follow through on resolutions.
Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
Create narratives outlining weekly findings and present them in a review forum.
Provide real-time customer experience by working in a 24*7 operating environment.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
Experience with Excel
